Narcocorrido
In 2012 Head like a Hole released âBlood Will Outâ. Their first album in a decade which wowed fans and audiences alike with the powerful âSwagger of Thievesâ and anthemic âGlory Glory (Hallelujah)â proving again that they werenât just a brutal live act but a force to be reckoned with in the studio. After a couple of years of touring, imbibing and writing the band recently released a new track âCreedenceâ on 7â vinyl with a Australian reprobates âSeedy Jesusâ on the other side of the split single.
Now they are back with 2015âs âNarcocorridoâ (Spanish for Drug Ballad) ready again to fuzz up the airwaves and speakers across the country. There are themes to twist the imagination and riffs to twist your head with songs like â7000 Daysâ about the UKâs notorious criminal âCharles Bronsonâ, âTrouble Againâ detailing past misadventures with various substances and the genre twisting âMexicoâ a semi true story about guitarist Nigel Reganâs father spending a night in jail on the border of US and Mexico.
