The Alan Parsons Project I Robot is re-issued in a variety of different formats including as a blu-ray disc (ABC Region Free) containing Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround sound mixes by Alan Parsons, and a hi-res (96/24) stereo remaster by Miles Showell.
The I Robot album draws conceptually on author Isaac Asimovâs science fiction Robot stories, exploring philosophical themes regarding artificial intelligence.
Like other Alan Parsons Project albums, there were a variety of different lead vocalists employed including Steve Harley, Allan Clarke, Lenny Zakatek, Peter Straker, Jack Harris and Jaki Whitren.
