Following the success of 2024’s ‘It Leads To This’ – which soared to Number 1 on the O5cial UK Rock & Metal Chart – The Pineapple Thief return with their stunning new EP & second release of 2024, ‘Last To Run’. Containing over 20 minutes of previously unreleased music, this limited CD release shines a new light on the creative journey that shaped the band’s 2024 chart-topper.
Written during the same sessions that birthed ‘It Leads To This’, the songs on ‘Last To Run’ reveal a powerful, cohesive narrative, showcasing the band’s unique blend of progressive rock & introspective lyricism. Vocalist & songwriter Bruce Soord re?ects on the EP’s origins: “We had some di cult decisions to make when deciding on the nal track listing for ‘It Leads To This’. The songs on this EP are based on songs & ideas from those sessions but they have since evolved way beyond what we would have imagined at the time. We are delighted
