After 22 years, EDGE OF SANITY’s acclaimed sophomore one-song concept album “Crimson II” is finally made available again on 2CD and 180g vinyl.

A follow-up solo effort by Dan Swanö to 1996’s ground-breaking “Crimson” album as well as the 8th and final release under the EDGE OF SANITY name, 2003’s “Crimson II” comes remastered by songwriter/frontman/producer Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Incantation) himself and includes a careful remix of “Crimson II” on the bonus disc.

Each of the 11 movements which compose the one unique “Crimson II” track showcase Swanö’s singular vision for EDGE OF SANITY, creating a sequel with improved technicality and songcraft across its 43 minutes, as parts like “The Forbidden Words”, “Incantation”, “Covenant of Souls” or “Aftermath” demonstrate with breathless progressive death metal endeavor.
